Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Paddio platform — the website at app.paddio.club, the Paddio mobile applications for iOS and Android, and all related features and services (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by PADDIO SPORT TECHNOLOGIES ("Paddio", "we", "us", or "our"), with registered offices at Río San Lorenzo #214, Col. Compuertas, C.P. 21218, Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico.
By creating an account, registering for an event, making a booking, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are and what Paddio does
Paddio is a management platform for padel and racquet-sports clubs. Clubs and organizers ("Clubs") use Paddio to run tournaments, circuits, classes, bookings, memberships, point-of-sale, and stores. Players ("Players", "you") use Paddio to discover and register for events, book courts and classes, pay, and view results.
Paddio is a technology provider, not the organizer. Events, classes, courts, products, prices, schedules, and rules are created and controlled by the Club. The contract for any event, booking, membership, or purchase is between you and the relevant Club. Paddio facilitates registration, payment processing, and communications on the Club's behalf.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. Minors may not create their own accounts. An adult may register a minor for an event as a managed player on the minor's behalf; by doing so the adult confirms they are the minor's parent or legal guardian, or are otherwise authorized, and takes responsibility for the minor's information and participation. The Service is not directed to children, and minors do not interact with it directly. See our Privacy Policy.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping it current.
- Player accounts authenticate by one-time code (OTP) sent to your email or phone. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the email/phone you use and for all activity under your account.
- Notify us promptly at contacto@paddio.club of any unauthorized use.
- You may delete your account at any time — see Section 11 and our Account & Data Deletion page.
4. Bookings, registrations, and payments
- Prices and rules for events, classes, courts, memberships, and products are set by the Club. Read each Club's terms, including its cancellation and refund rules, before you pay.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Paddio does not store full payment-card numbers. By paying, you also agree to Stripe's terms. Each Club uses its own Stripe account (Stripe Connect) and is the merchant of record for your purchase; funds are paid to the Club, and Paddio charges the Club a platform fee. Paddio does not hold your funds.
- Platform fee. A Paddio service/platform fee may be added to your total. When it applies, it is shown as a separate line item on the order summary before you pay.
- Pay at venue. Some Clubs allow you to reserve and pay in person ("pay at venue"). Your spot is reserved when you register, and the Club marks the payment as settled when you pay at the venue. Cash and in-person payments are handled directly by the Club.
- Discount codes / coupons, where a Club offers them, are applied to your order before payment and are subject to the Club's conditions (such as validity period, usage limits, and single use). Coupons have no cash value.
- Registering others. When you provide another person's details — a doubles partner, or a managed player you register on their behalf — you confirm you are authorized to share their information for this registration and are responsible for its accuracy.
- Refunds and cancellations are the Club's responsibility and are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy and the applicable Club's rules, subject to your non-waivable consumer-protection rights under applicable law (including, in Mexico, the Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor).
- You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchases unless stated otherwise.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break any law or any Club's rules, or infringe anyone's rights;
- impersonate another person, or register or pay on someone's behalf without authorization;
- upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or infringing;
- interfere with, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
- scrape, harvest, or bulk-export data, or use bots except as we expressly permit;
- use the Service to send spam or to process data you have no right to process.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
6. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., team names, profile details, messages, results). You grant Paddio and the relevant Club a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use that content solely to operate the Service and the events you take part in. You are responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the rights to share it.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and the Paddio name and logos, is owned by Paddio and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties including Stripe (payments), Supabase (hosting, database, authentication), and email/push-notification providers. Your use of those features may be subject to the third party's terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Paddio is not responsible for the conduct of any Club, organizer, or other user, or for the events, classes, courts, or products they offer. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paddio and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount of fees Paddio earned from your transactions in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $100 (or MXN equivalent). These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Suspension, termination, and account deletion
- You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time via the app (Profile → Delete account) or the Account & Data Deletion page.
- On deletion we remove or anonymize your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy; certain transaction and financial records are retained in anonymized form as required for tax, accounting, and dispute purposes.
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or where required by law.
12. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may modify the Service and update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., in-app or by email) and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules that grant you the right to bring proceedings in your place of residence or before PROFECO. If you reside in the United States, mandatory provisions of your local law continue to apply to you.
14. Mobile app store terms (EULA)
The Paddio mobile apps are distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your use is also subject to the store's terms.
Apple devices. These Terms are between you and Paddio only, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. Apple is not responsible for any product warranties or for addressing any claims relating to the app (including product-liability, legal-compliance, or intellectual-property claims). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. prohibited-parties list. This app is licensed, not sold, to you for use only under the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (LEULA), except where superseded by these Terms.
Google Play. Your use of the app is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.
